Season 2 - 2014/15 The MooCamp Radio Show

Listen! Listen Now! The MooCamp Radio Show Issue 2.11

albiestrainThe one with MK Dons Supporters Association Chairman Adam Faiers (yes THE Adam Faiers).

We talk at length about the exciting stuff that the Supporters Association have lined up, we briefly mention the upcoming trip to Leyton Orient, and reminisce about previous trips there too.

We have our very own M&S styled Lexicon of Chav, the first rejected application for the wall of honour, a first outing for Grigg and Baker the Big Bakers and a whole host of your texts, tweets, facebooks and the like. We exclusively announce the upcoming competition to name the East Stand Bar, and then decide we’re going to call it Lewie’s anyway.

Music came from The Undertones. That was it. Just one track. We couldn’t fit any more in and that was in a week where we hadn’t had a match. I have no idea whether that’s a good thing or not.

The MooCamp Radio Show – it’s like an old friend who you’re happy to have around, but not when any of your new friends are there.

Stadium Chase
A mad man on a bike doing great things

Yes the literary event of the season is here!

Stadium Chase by Adam Faiers and Dan McCalla is now available in all good bookshops called Amazon.  Just to recap on the story if you’re not familiar:

Last season, an absolutely insane friend of mine Adam Faiers decided to do something absolutely insane. He decided to cycle to all of the away matches for the whole season for charity. Just in case the hugeness of that doesn’t quite sink in, that includes such delightful trips as Yeovil, Hartlepool and Carlisle and in total he cycled 2975 miles. Cycled!!!!

In doing so, Adam raised more than £8,000 which will be split between the Redway School and the Dons Sports and Education Trust – I applaud you sir!

To maximise the fundraising, Adam and another friend of mine Dan McCalla have written a book about the project and again, all of the proceeds go to the same charities. You can buy the book in paperback or kindle version from Amazon (I’ve bought both!) and if you could possibly spare the cash, then please think about buying a copy.

The paperback can be bought from here:

and the kindle version from here:

Please share, like, tweet, retweet or anything else that you think might help increase the money raised.

Thanks all.
