Wants to leave Charlton.
Wouldn't command a huge wage, these days and is looking to work hard to get his career back on track. Could be worth a gamble.

I was expecting a bigger reaction to this.
I wouldn't have him back myself, I reckon he would flop this time around.

Unfortunatley I think his legs have gone following his injury, never hit anything like decent form since leaving. And to be honest I can't imagine we will be looking at strikers when you consider we have Easter, Baldock, Wilbraham, Ibehere and Johnson(both still our players at the moment) with Powell and Collins waiting in the wings, nit to mention Guy and Balanta who may have been signed as wingers but both able to play as strikers

I saw Jimmy Carr at the MK theatre a couple of weeks ago and saw him, he said he can't wait to leave Charlton but doesn't know where he's next destination will be.

He's not the same player he was before the injury. He'd still be earning quite a bit and he won't be getting a lot of goals. Baldock is a similar player to Mcleod and I'd rather have him in the squad than Mcleod.

He is on 8K a week at Charlton, so wont want to come down to 2.5K for us.
Also what sort of signal would we be sending to Baldock if we signed him!

Also what sort of signal would we be sending to Baldock if we signed him! That's nearly half a million pounds p/a. No way they were paying him that much. We wouldn't pay him 2.5k a week either. That said, I couldn't give a sh*t what message would be sent to Baldock if we signed him. Overrated. If he wasn't an MK lad he'd be hated on here.
